The example was made with PSP X and Jasc Animation Shop

_________________________________________________

1.) Open a new raster layer 750x350 pixel

2.) Copy and paste your tube as new raster layer / Muras Meister / Copies / Wallpaper rotate / default settings

3.) Adjust / Motion Blur / Angle 45 / Strength 100 / repeat 1 time more

4.) Effects / Edge Effects / Enhance

5.) Copy and paste a closeup at the right side of the canvas / set layer mode to soft light

I added also the background from this horse tube (resized and soft light)

6.)  Add new raster layer

7.) Effects / Mura's Seamless / Checks / change COLORS to your liking

8.) Set the layer mode to soft light / Xero Porcelain (blue to 0) / lower opacity to 20

9.) Add another new raster layer / repeat Mura's Seamless / Checks / but change Offset, Gingham to 10

10.) Repeat step 6-8 , changing always the Offset, Gingham by 10 more till you have 13 checkered layers

11. Crop you canvas / add a border

12.) Copy and paste your tube, placement on the left site / add drop shadow

NOTE: If you want to place the tube like I did (overlapping), then you need to make your canvas bigger (something like 750x600), Image / Canvas Size.....and if you want to animate your set, you need to add a background layer (that fits your Forum/Blog color) to the canvas, otherwise the GIF file at the end will look terrible.

13.) Add my supplies if you want / drop shadow

14.) Add the artist's © / url and your license and your name

Animation

1.) Hide all your checkered layers , leave only the bottom one visible

2.) Edit / copy merged and paste as new animation to AS 

3.) Back to your PSP / hide the bottom checkered layer and make visible the next / edit / copy merged and paste after current frame in AS

3.) Repeat these steps till you used all the 13 checkered layers

5.) View animation and save as .....gif
